Thanks for the response. I know what quoits are as I have my own set that I purchased in Ephrata, PA. This game uses iron or steel rods maybe 1/2 inch in diameter bent and welded into 10 to 11 inch diameter hoops and tossed over a taller post closer to ring toss than quoits as only 1 point is awarded for a "ringer". It may very well be a variation of quoits, but I was looking to have my own set made. I just wondered if anybody knew of the game or had their own set. Thanks.
I am looking fro information for a game often referred to in Lancaster County as "Amish Rings". Basically each person tries to throw 3 iron or steel rings at roughly a 4 foot post to get a "ringer". As a kid in the 70's and 80's my Dad and Uncles had this games. I would like to have rings made for me. Does anybody have any specs at all on this game? Thank you.
