I have been playing disc games and am really just plain addicted to flying discs. The Aerobie disc mentioned above has some instability issues that cause the disc to turn over slightly when throwing. This is called "over-stable" or "under-stable" depending on the initial direction of release and rotation. The instability comes from the design of the disc and proportions of rim to top-deck, weight and density of plastic.
The Flashflight has these stability factors really dialed-in. Their discs are well balanced for clean, flat flight as well as function of using a single LED and fiber optics. The light emitted is consistent so the entire disc is illuminated rather than Aerobie's LEDs attached to the bottom. As the pictures show above, when the disc spins, its like a flashlight being thrown. The light is almost blinding at night if your eyes come in contact with the LED directly.
This is a great forum on all sorts of games. I like playing Frisbee at night and have every lighted disc for the last 15 years. The Flashflight is my all time favorite.
