Washers is fun, BUT .................

Washers is fun, BUT the game of Cornhole is a BLAST! I'm a St. Louisian in the midst of washers country, but being the webmaster of this site, I was recently turned on to trying the popular game of Cornhole that is taking the nation by storm. I was a BIG BIG BIG skeptic that anything could be as fun as washers, but I admit to say it, I was DEAD WRONG! I am sooooo hooked now that it's crazy. I built my first set with the plans on this site and play whenever I can. Trust me folks, once you play this game, you'll put washer's 2nd on your list. I had my buddy Todd come over recently for a get together and introduced him to the game. He couldn't stop playing! I recently found out that he just made 3 sets at home. Needless to say, he's a natural. So good that I made him my partner in the 1st annual Missouri Cornhole tournament in Ballwin, MO on 8-4-07. We came in I think 4th out of 9 teams, but heck, that's not too bad for newbies.

If I were a bettin' man, I would say that Cornhole will surpass Washers in St. Louis (yeah, I know, that's a stretch) as the favorite pasttime tossing game within 5 years. It's that much fun!
