| | NEW "Unique" Slider Jarts Part! (REALLY NEEDED) « Thread Started on May 16, 2008, 4:33pm » | |
After some interest, I'm pleased to provide "Slider Jarts" enthusiasts with a brand new part modification. It's a rubber piece that firmly slides over the plastic shaft overlay between the fin and the metal tip to prevent fin damage (i.e. mushrooming and/or cracking). This is a common occurance with sliders due to the force exhibited on the fin when it lands, hittng plastic against metal. So, no more damaged fins! This was a much needed modification due to fins no longer being manufactured due to the USA and Canada ban.
You can find this part at http://www.LawnDartParts.com under part #0010A

I just had a slider Jarts player email me that their fins shattered due to the impact from the plastic hitting the metal. This only furthers the "need" for this aftermarket part. With all lawn darts older than 20 years old, this cheap part will extend the life of your fins and save you money from purchasing more fins.
